One x.  One  over  x.  Multiplied  
doesn't equal multiples  with reciprocals:  A single,  unitary,  one.   
And one I am,  my ex,  but not a whole.  Without reciprocation I am  
one  minus  ex.  I am a fraction.  One  divided by  ex.   
Reciprocate,  damn you!  Or remove yourself  from this equation,  and let it balance out.  Let  me

There Are SpidersIf You Don't Know, There Are Spiders   
A black widow crawls from index,  middle,  to ring finger,  reminding me that  even in death we do not part.   
Who provoked who is irrelevant now,  if we could ever even guess.   
The last hour:  She bit me,  and I squashed her between the front page  and living section of yesterday's news.  As my throat closes, prohibiting my last  desperate  exhale,  I smile.   
Asphyxiation.
